Leeds technology start up, PrinSIX, has been cited by Innovation Leeds as a case study on their newly launched Innovation Prospectus, representing the best of business in the city.

PrinSIX was launched by Julian Graham-Rack. Formerly a senior executive in the consumer finance sector, he recognised the inefficiency of rules based application processes that frequently excluded the more vulnerable in society.

The PrinSIX platform uses a personalised approach, with in-built technology that adapts to an individual’s situation, meaning that the actual online application process is easier and quicker with better results both for the applicant and the service provider.

The platform doesn’t only apply to the financial services sector. The inaugural client making use of the PrinSIX technology is KCOM, the Hull based telecoms company. As a result of the partnership, KCOM have rolled out their Social Tariff digitally, enabling more of those consumers eligible for social savings to access them without hassle.

Julian Graham-Rack said,

“I am really pleased that Innovation Leeds has recognised the potential in what we have developed and launched in PrinSIX. Over 4 million people are eligible for social based savings, but may fail to access them simply because the application process doesn’t understand their situation and as such excludes them. Working with partners such as KCOM the PrinSIX technology has the potential to change this across a range of sectors and in doing so make a real difference to peoples’ lives.

With both the vibrant business environment in the Region and the need for social support in many areas, Leeds is the perfect place for us to be based.”
